In Sixth Form, students extend this journey through either the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) or BTEC Level 3 Extended Diplomas. BTEC pathways provide a more vocational route, using projects, coursework and real-world assignments to develop practical skills and professional behaviours.

In IGCSEs, recent results include a significant share of grades at 9–7, with many students achieving five or more subjects at these levels, including English and Mathematics. Outstanding performances in English Language, French, Geography, and History are complemented by exceptional individual achievements, with several students earning multiple Grade 9s across their subjects. 

In the IB Diploma Programme, students benefit from carefully guided subject selection, expert teaching, and robust academic support. Aspen Heights is a proudly multilingual community, welcoming students from 60+ nationalities and supporting a wide range of home languages. English is the main language of learning, with Arabic, Spanish and French embedded across the school. 

Students study Arabic through the MOE curriculum, integrated throughout the school. In Years 3–6, learners add Spanish and French, and in Years 7–9 Spanish continues as a core language. Older students can pursue French at IGCSE and Spanish in the IB Diploma Programme, with opportunities to sit additional language exams (including Arabic, French, Spanish and other home languages) through Pearson Edexcel and Cambridge Assessment, depending on availability. 

Digital tools are used purposefully to support language progress. Platforms such as FlashAcademy and Widgit AI, alongside iPads and Chromebooks, help students build vocabulary, practise listening and speaking, and work at their own pace with engaging, interactive activities.
