Guided by the UAE Ministry of Education curriculum, students continue to develop advanced skills in reading, writing, speaking and interpretation, with teaching that supports both academic progress and meaningful real-world communication.At this stage, students are encouraged to engage more deeply with complex texts, themes and ideas, strengthening their ability to analyse language, respond thoughtfully and communicate with clarity. At Aspen Heights, a full-time Careers and University Guidance Lead supports students from Year 7 to Year 13, building from early aspirations to focused Sixth Form preparation. Post-16 (Years 12–13), students benefit from personalised university guidance, interview coaching, application support (UCAS, Common App, UAE universities) and scholarship preparation.
Through ISP, students access ISP Future Pathways, with global university links, leadership programmes, competitions, virtual internships and Unifrog for research and applications.
All Sixth Form students complete internships, with work experience now starting in Year 10. Many placements are arranged via ADEK Careers Counselling and partners such as ADNOC, Bon Discovery League and Yas Parks, across sectors including education, engineering, healthcare, media, hospitality and business.
In Sixth Form, IBDP students grow through CAS, while BTEC students gain hands-on industry experience.
